How does WalkMe licensing actually work?
It’s a common question—and one we get in almost every customer conversation.
Here’s how we explain it at DGTL Ventures 👇
💻 1. WalkMe Web (Core Platform)
Licensing is based on:
- The number of applications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Ariba)
- The number of users per application (e.g., 500, 5,000, or 50,000+)
As your usage grows, say across 3, 4, or 5 apps, it often makes sense to shift to an enterprise-wide license, covering all platforms under a unified user pool.
📊 2. Add-On Modules
On top of the core license, you can add:
- WalkMe Discovery (software usage and tech stack insights)
- WalkMe Analytics (Digital experience analytics and UI intelligence)
- WalkMe Learning (e-learning and simulation platform)
- WalkMe Workstation/Menu, Desktop, and more
🎯 Whether you’re starting with one application or scaling across your entire enterprise, we help clients build the right license structure to match their rollout plans, user volumes, and long-term DAP strategy.
